Calendar girls

Every year I am very lucky to get a Calendar made by my very talented son-in-law Chris, and this year was no exception. I cherish these calendars. When I flipped the page for February I fell in love with this one, the expression on Jenna's face is so
scrumptiously cute, it's like she's saying to herself " I didn't sign up for this" or what am I doing in this laundry basket?" I just love it!! I have
to say, this is my fav!! So funny and cute at the same time!
Happy Friday everyone.

Chloe conquer's all!

One of my favorite little people is Miss Chloe. She is very smart and loves to learn.

One day she told her mother that she needed to go to the bathroom. Her mother told her, well

go ahead, not really serious about her statement, because Miss C wasn't potty trained.

Well knowing what the toilet was used for, Miss C got on the toilet and proceeded to use it.

Miss Chloe yelled to her mother, Mommy I went, I went potty. Her mother came to

look, and sure enough Miss Chloe had gone potty in the toilet.

From then on Miss Chloe was officially Potty trained.

The end........

She's a happy girl and proud of her accomplishment!

Chloe the Conqueror and Champion

she's my hero and sweet granddaughter!

Out with old, in with the New Year!

David and I don't normally exchange presents. Although I did get him an MP3 this year, Mackenzie helped me by putting some of his favorite music on it and we presented it to him. David and the kids always asks me what I would like and they know my pat answer is: peace and harmony and us just being together. Honestly that's all I want. I have no wants. I have no other joy, than to be with my family. I love us just hanging out and talking and laughing. My adult kids love to tell me things they use to do when they were younger because they know I can't do anything about it. Sometimes I plug my ears and start singing la la la la. Cecelia will want to chime in and share, but then I will warn her kiddingly "hey you still live at home I can still ground you". LOl. Pretty soon she too will leave the nest. But until then I can still enjoy having her home. We thoroughly enjoyed Chloe. She is getting so big. We have found out that she loves men. She was not shy at all when she got reacquainted with David, she climbed right on his lap and settled in. It took a few minutes before you got use to me. It didn't take long. Christmas eve night she allowed me to sing and rock her to sleep. I think I sang Eensy weensy spider and Your are my Sunshine at least 20 times. Grandchildren are Grandparents rewards for not killing their kids. It is all worth it.

It's Raining It's Pouring

Well today, I worked just a couple of hours and then got to go home, Yeah! It was suppose to be my day off any way. It was pouring rain and still is. It was those kind of days where you just want to cuddle up in front of a fire and drink Hot Chocolate. Cheri called me to remind me that it was Chloe's 9 months birthday and informed me that Chloe can now crawl up the stairs. Real fast too. I remember when Cece was that age and we didn't have a gate so I blocked our stairs with a couple of chairs, especially when I would be busy doing something in the kitchen. Oh those were the days. Well I had the fire but not the hot chocolate, instead I decided to clean house. I know I'm a sicko. I love to clean. The way its raining, we maybe looking for an Ark. Made Fish Taco's, yum yum.
